Anuradhapura

Anuradhapura is a major city in Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of North Central Province & the capital of Anuradhapura District. Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura was earlier the capital of the Island (in ancient times) and most of the Kings who ruled Sri Lanka resided in this vast city.

COLOMBO CITY

The capital and largest city of Sri Lanka. That heritage is reflected in its architecture, mixing colonial buildings with high-rises and shopping malls. Which was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the vibrant markets and bazaars of Pettah, and the National Museum with its fine collection of lovely antiques and art of Sri Lanka. You could visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu Kovil to experience the diversity of religion, ethnicity and customs of the people.

Kandy

The beautiful hill country capital is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is famous for the Temple of the Tooth which houses the most sacred religious relic, the tooth of the Buddha. The Kandy Lake built in 1807 and the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, are some of the key jewels of the town that elevate its magnificence.

Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. Its temperate climate gives the city a very different feel from other parts of the country. Nuwara Eliya is better known as “Little England” of Sri Lanka. It’s temperate, cool climate – the coolest area in Sri Lanka.

Ella

Ella is a small town in the Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka governed by an Urban Council. It is approximately 200 kilometers from Colombo. Ella is pure natural beauty with waterfalls, greenery, and hills. Ella has a comfortable climate where the nights are cool and the daytime around 28 degrees. Ella is the perfect place to go to if one wants to refresh the brain. Jaffna

The capital city of the Northe Province of Sri Lanka. Jaffna is the cultural town of the Tamil people of Sri Lanka. Jaffna is the northern capital and has an airport based in Palali. Opened doors for tourism in 2009.

Attractions: Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, Jaffna Fort (was built by the Portuguese in 17th century and later occupied by the Dutch and British.), Jaffna Public Library, Jaffna Archaeological Museum, Point Pedro. Visit the Local Market, Eat Indian influenced food and Day Excursion to Nagadeepa.

Polonnaruwa

Is the main town of Polonnaruwa District in North Central Province in Sri Lanka. Kaduruwela area is the Polonnaruwa New Town and the other part of Polonnaruwa remains as the Royal ancient city of the Kingdom of Polonnaruwa. It consists of a lot of temples and religious buildings.

Sigiriya

Sigiriya Rock Fortress is Sri Lanka's most popular attraction. The ancient city of SIGIRIYA is a premier eco-tourism destination in Sri Lanka which was designated a cultural World Heritage Site in 1982. It is also proposed that, the site should be named The Eighth Wonder of The World Sigiriya have been nominated as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES.

Dambulla

Dambulla are a UNESCO recognized heritage site and a major tourist attraction. Dambulla rock temple is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains.There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Lord Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, 3 statues of srilankan kings and 4 statues of God and goddess. The latter 4 include two statues of Hindu gods, Vishnu and Ganesh.

Minneriya National Park

Minneriya National Park is in North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938. The Largest known wild Asian Elephant Gathering at one place in the World. One of the best places in the country to see wild elephants, which are often present in huge numbers.

Kaudulla National Park

Kaudulla is the newly established national park in the heart of the cultural triangle. It was designated a national park on 01st April, 2002. Apart from the elephants, Kaudulla National Park is home to 23 species of mammals including Sambar Deer, Sri Lankan Axis Deer, Chevrotain, Wild boar, Leopard, and Sloth Bear are other mammals. Very rarely one could spot leopard and sloth bears. Lots of birdlife and other wildlife like mongoose, monitor lizards.

Wasgamuwa National Park

Wasgamuwa National Park is a natural park in Sri Lanka situated in the Matale and Polonnaruwa Districts. It was declared to protect and to make a refuge for the displaced wild animals during the Mahaweli Development Project in 1984 and is one of the four National Parks designated under the Project. The best time to enjoy the sight of large herds is during November to May. In the rest of the year the elephants tend to migrate to nearby Minneriya and Kaudulla national Parks.

Yala National Park

National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. It’s a huge area of forest, grassland and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean, in southeast Sri Lanka. It’s home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of bird species. One of the highest leopard densities in the world.

Beruwela /Bentota

Are famous for Water Sports in the sea and the Bentota river. Many interesting sightseeing tours are possible such as the Turtle Hatchery, Mask factory, Galle Fort, as well as Ayurvedic treatment.

Nilaveli Beach /Trincomale

Is most famous for, perfect swimming, fishing and Water Sports. Enjoy activities such as scuba-diving, snorkeling, surfing, and whale-watching. The best time to visit the East Coast of Sri Lanka is May to September.

Galle /The Galle Fort

Galle Fort in the Bay of Galle, on the southwest of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka’s most historically interesting and the most ancient town, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 on wards. The Galle Fort important harbor of the country, until the Colombo Harbor was established. Experience the UNESCO world heritage site.
