  • REQUIREMENTS
    • Trainee /School leavers who are passionate about Travel & Tourism
    • Should be able to communicate well in English (Speaking /Writing) /(Knowledge of other languages will be considered as an extra qualification)
    • Ability to correspond independently
    • Excellent Computer knowledge in MS Office and e-mail
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Prompt engagement with travel agents over the phone and e-mail
    • Maintain professional relationship with suppliers and negotiate the hotel rate  
    • Create Itinerary suggestions with Cost Estimate for Accommodation, Meals, Transport and Sightseeing
    • Quick response to tour inquiries
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Excellent customer service skills
  • REQUIREMENTS
    • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in travel industry
    • In-depth knowledge of tour sights and cultural considerations in Sri Lanka
    • Knowledge of handling inquires and travel itineraries including hotel contracting, negotiation of hotel rates, costing, quoting and completing the bookings
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Proficiency in other languages is an extra qualification
    • Experience in handling Thai, Far East, UK and Europe market would be an added advantage
    • Professional qualification in travel and tourism would be an added advantage

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Ability to create and manage detailed Tour Itinerary & suggestions with Cost Estimate for Accommodation, Meals, Transport and Sightseeing.
    • Quick response to tour inquiries
    • Maintain professional relationship with suppliers and negotiate the hotel rate
    • Ability to communicate well and maintain a good relationship with travel agents around the world
    • Maintain records and prepare monthly reports
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Ability to correspond independently
    • Excellent customer service skills

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in inbound travel and tourism industry
  • Leadership skills with a pleasant personality and strong initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in other languages is an extra qualification
  • Professional qualification in travel and tourism would be an added advantage
  • Excellent customer service skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales and operational goals
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and other travel industry partners
  • Create and manage customized tour routes, Itineraries, Cost Estimate for FIT & Group Tours
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure guest satisfaction.
